4 hours and 1 crash later and i am on 6% ... couldnt be better 

guys for the first time, from croatia!
I have to slow patch, it seams to me that only thing we can do is wait. If you can normaly watch youtube, your internet connection has nothing to do with slow patching, it is just that this game is so popular

ha lol no your not....once i hit 52.7% my patching client crashed...FRAKKING HELL,i had to go to my brother and take his game client so that i could play.My client has failed 7 times in a row to patch the game.

From what I've noticed about patch speed, for me at least, is that the first 8% is painfully slow and then its starts to speed up.

They need a Torrent system
Blizzard entertainment have a P2P patch system, its in Starcraft 2 and i think diablo 3 uses it
the problem is this, to many people all trying to access the same file from a single server, yes?
in a torrent or mesh download, your computer would contact several servers for shards, aka pieces and not just that, but you would get the patch from other players who are nearby
of-course p2p sharing should be optional and selectable in the launcher window, but if majority of people share it, that would take a load of the servers, allowing more people to share it
or if p2p isn't possible from other players for any reason, they should offer other media sites like MediaFire, FileHost, etc all those big places or gamers hell
but ideally, a p2p system is where it needs to be, or maybe offering a torrent to download/share it?
EDIT: Mine is sitting at 76% its been going since 1am this morning, its now 11, 10 hours for 75%
and im cutting into my onpeek net usage which is precious, it would also be ideal if you close the launcher it pauses the download so it resumes on launch

Mine just went from 1.3% to 8.4% in the time it took for me to read a quick article. Uh.... weird.

I was lucky enough to have Brutal Legend to pass the time and completely ignore the launcher to not cause any errors.
But look at the bright side, the servers are down for maintenance so you ain't gonna miss much lol.

My Game Only Gets To The 5.1% and then i waited for more then 2 hours later and still at the 5.1% its not doing anything but stick there ive rebooted my pc over and over and still doesnt fix it please find a way to fix this bug

im at 98.4% after leaving it up for about an hour or so... this of course, after 20 times of getting a download and crashing/failing to move beyond a certain % each time
