Hi guys, I'm a new user and I downloaded the game like 3 days ago. The game took about 14 Hours to download and until then it was fine. Next when I finished installing I started the game from the desktop icon and it said Patching.. Received 0% I understand that all online games get patched so I let it patch. I came back 3 hours later to see it was still at like 4% Its like the whole game is being downloaded again. I left it for another couple of hours and when I come back the patching window is gone! I started it again and this time it reached 18% but after some time it disappeared again.

I dont use steam (never did) and I run Win 7 32-bit as the admin. Can anyone tell me whats wrong and how I can fix it? Please reply I dont to have wasted my time downloading a 5GB game which doesnt work in the end

I really wanna PLAY!

EDIT: It happened again! WTF is this ********!?! Last I saw it was at 33% < Highest ever, I was watching a movie and then it just disappeared.

COMPLETE ********! THIS IS A SERIOUS WASTE OF TIME! CAN SOMEONE REPLY OR SHOULD I JUST MOVE ON TO ANOTHER GAME!?

EDIT 2: Ok so I messed around the games files and started the game directly instead of the launcher and well it worked, I completed the tutorial and it worked fine till there. The problem is that I cant join a game cause my game version isnt right, it tells me to update and i cant do that cause the patcher is screwed up.

Please fix this or tell me how to! Thanks in advance.

EDIT 3: Ok so now I see perfect world also has ****ty tech support, I'm gonna give the updater one last try and if tat doesnt work- **** IT!

My launcher version is 2012_04_24_18_04. No idea on game version, il try finding it.

P.S If anyone knows on how to check your game version please post!

Ok so I went to the patch folder and I found this:


Does this mean I only need to download the 0938 patch? @rebornofmaya

EDIT 2: Ok so I downloaded the 0983 patch, installed and it doesnt work. When I try to join a game it still says my game version is different!

I started the game directly from the binaries directory, I didnt use the launcher. I did the force verify thing and its still patching like before (not working).

What should I do now?

Its ok, thanks a lot for you help. I just uninstalled the game, Im gonna re-install it, download all the patches and install. If that doesnt work I'll just move on to another game.

my problem is i have already manual patched because if i let the patch go through on the client it will take literally ten days....so i manual patched it installed....but when i launch the game it tries removing the patch and installing it again....im fed up with this i havent even got to play yet and im dying to play so this bull shiz needs to stop or i will not play this game at all....ill stick to project blackout and combat arms

dont lauch from desktop shortcut created automatically,go to binaries in the directory where u installed the game and run blr.exe and play

Well o.o Pefectworld is pretty fked up right now... i downloaded the the game having the patch of v983RC1a. annd in the Blacklight.perfectworld/download. it says Manual Patch v982.RC2.... dafuq?
